Bridge Project To Begin On Greenwich's Brookridge Drive On July 11

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A five-month bridge replacement project will close Brookridge Drive at the bridge to traffic until December. 

A bridge replacement project will see traffic diverted off Brookridge Drive until December. The construction project is scheduled to begin July 11.

On July 11, construction will begin on the Brookridge Drive Bridge superstructure replacement project. The $256,306 construction project is expected to be completed by December. Brookridge Drive is located between Fairfield Drive and Route 1. 

The project was designed by Alfred Benesch & Co. of Glastonbury. Construction work will be performed by A. Vitti Excavators of Stamford.

Traffic wanting to travel southbound on Brookridge Drive will have to use Fairfield Road to Stanwich Road to Route 1. Northbound motorists will have to use Route 1 to Stanwich Road to Fairfield Road.
