A Port Chester, N.Y., man was arrested in Greenwich on Saturday while allegedly attempting to force his way into a residence and after allegedly attempting to burglarize another Wilmont Lane home. Axel Ramirez, 28, of 126 Poningo St., was found trying to enter a second home after homeowners reported he had broken a screen door and scared small children in an earlier burglary attempt, police said.
He was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal attempt at burglary, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. He was held on $10,000 bond and is due in court Feb. 28.

An Old Greenwich teen was given a summons Wednesday for allegedly unruly behavior after taking another teen's cell phone. She pushed the victim and caused damage to the wall by slamming a bedroom door several times, police said. The girl admitted her behavior and was issued a juvenile summons on charges of disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. She is due in court Tuesday.
Oscar Macua, 25, of 45 Washington St., Port Chester, N.Y., was charged with drunken driving Saturday during a motor vehicle stop. Macua appeared to have red bloodshot eyes and slurred his speech when he answered questions, police said. He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and improper turn. He posted $250 bond and is due in court March 3.
