Greenwich young professionals are spreading their networking wings in Stamford. "All are welcome," said Jim Shattuck, one of the founding members and honorary advisor of the Greenwich Young Professionals Group.
Each month the organization hosts social gatherings for young professionals to meet people in the area and develop business relationships. The group is hosting a summer barbecue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at at Eastside Commons Luxury Residences in Stamford.
"We like to mix up the type of event the Greenwich YPG has and the locations we host them at," said James Parker, co-chairman of the group.
The group was created as a base for young adults ages 21-40, in a professional setting to network and help each other build their careers. "[Eastside Commons Luxury Residences] is a newly built condo complex in downtown Stamford. It will be a great location for our members and new members to network, form new business relationships, enjoy the summer weather and eat great food."
