Come out and help welcome Army 2nd Lt. Michael Fanell of the 501st Military Police Co. as he returns home for the holidays from service in Iraq. Fanell will arrive back home on River Road Extension on Thursday evening escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders and the Greenwich Police Department. The soldier and his escorts will cross over the Mianus Bridge, which has been lined with American flags by Selectman David Theis. The Fire Dept. will illuminate the bridge just before 8 p.m. Welcome home a hero!
