Variety Show Tickets Are on Sale

For a chance to see what kind of talent Greenwich has to offer and help raise funds for a scholarship fund, tickets for the Greenwich Has Got Talent Variety Show will be on sale Saturday at Jewels by Viggi, 40 Greenwich Ave.

Greenwich's talented singers, dancers, magicians and comedians are preparing for their shining moment. "I was amazed at the caliber of some of these high school kids," said Mary Ann Morrison, president of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, the event's sponsor. "It allowed us to get exposed to the depth of talent that is in this town."

The fun-filled event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29 and 30 at Greenwich High School. A portion of the proceeds will go toward a scholarship awarded to a Greenwich High School student who majors in business in college. Tickets purchased in advance are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and children under 12, $5 more at the door. For more information, call 203-869-3500 or visit the chamber online.
