Supporters Of Greenwich's Kids In Crisis Take An Icy Dip On New Year's Day

GREENWICH, Conn. — Supporters of Greenwich-based Kids In Crisis took the plunge on New Year's Day to benefit the organization, which provides free, round-the-clock crisis counseling and temporary shelter for infants, children and teens in need.

Participants took a quick dip into Long Island Sound at noon Sunday at Tod's Point.

After the chilly swim, participants enjoyed bagels and hot cocoa.

All proceeds from the day will go to Kids in Crisis, which serves all of Fairfield County.
