Second Congregational Church Of Greenwich Hosts Homecoming Festivities

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Second Congregational Church in Greenwich will host its annual homecoming festivities on Friday, Sept. 6, through Sunday, Sept. 8.

The celebration will kick off Friday, Sept. 6, with a musical program with church Music Director Alexander Constantine, Grammy-nominated vocalist Caroline Worra, and vocalist and guitarist Kreg Gotschall, who will present “From Tosca to Taylor” – an evening of opera, Broadway and other popular music. from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on the Mead House lawn, behind the church.

The Bossy Frog Band will provide an interactive program for children on Saturday Sept. 7, encouraging them to listen and participate with their imaginations, voices and movement.

Sunday, Sept. 8, worship services are scheduled for 8:30 and 10 a.m. under a tent. The Rev. Maxwell Grant, Senior Minister, will preach on Genesis 1.

Following the second service, a barbecue luncheon will be held from about 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In the event of rain, activities will be held indoors.
