Just when you thought they were over, sidewalk sales are here again. This time they're in Byram, though Friday's rain kept some shoppers indoors.
Julia Portera, owner and manager of The Side Door clothing store, said it was busy Thursday when many people were taking advantage of the nice weather. She hoped the bargain-basement prices would continue encourage shoppers since Mother Nature was no longer helping. "People like to shop for good deals regardless. It's something fun."
The Sidewalk Sales continue Saturday.
