The Greenwich chapter of the American Red Cross held a special evening session of the Caregiver's Circle with guest speakers and a discussion about resources available to seniors in town.
The Caregiver's Circle was created in 2009 as a collaborative effort from Greenwich Adult Day Care, the Junior League of Greenwich, Commission on Aging and the Red Cross. The six-week program provides the community with information on care giving and acts as a support group for those caring for loved ones.
Guest speakers were Sam Deibler, director of the Commission of Aging; Carol Cherry, town administrator for senior services; Honorable Judge Hopper; and Tom Mahoney, director of special clinical services for the Greenwich Health Department.
