Bruce Park was quiet Friday afternoon as rain soaked Greenwich. The park's "residents" were left to manage without human visitors.
"Girl Standing in Nature," located on the bend of Woods Drive, was sheltered from the rain by her handy pink umbrella. Meanwhile, with the pond frozen over and not a dog in sight, ducks took advantage of the puddles for a little swim.
Bruce Park and the rest of Greenwich are under flood watch until 8 p.m. Friday night. Rain is expected to taper off in the evening, but a high wind advisory remains in effect until 11 p.m. Party cloudy skies Saturday morning will give way to clouds and a possibility of rain or snow in the evening. Sunday may see some snow showers in the morning.
