Parents, you can introduce your children to classical music in a kid-tailored concert by the Jasper String Quartet on Feb. 5 at the Greenwich Library.
The award-winning group will play pieces by Beethoven and Ravel during its 45-minute performance targeted just for young listeners. The concert is part of the Ashford Children's Concert Series, which aims to expose children to classical and jazz music.
The Jasper String Quartet is named after the Jasper National Park in Alberta. Its members live in New Haven.
The show is free and open to the public. Interested guests can pick up unassigned tickets at the Cole Auditorium at noon on Saturday, Feb. 5, and return before the doors open at 2 p.m. For more information, call 203-622-7965.
