Wood and cloth figures will come to life and young imaginations soar when the No Strings Marionette Company presents "Jack and the Beanstalk" next month in Greenwich.
Sponsored by the Greenwich Historical Society,
the production tells a well-loved tale using 15 colorful, handcrafted marionettes -- including a ravenous giant. Three magic beans and a sense of optimism will catapult hero Jack high into the sky, where his destiny awaits.
The show will take place Dec. 11 at 2, 4, and 6 p.m. at the Historical Societys Vanderbilt Education Center, 39 Strickland Road in Cos Cob. Tickets are $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers. The childrens theater performance is always a sellout, so be sure to reserve seats today at the Historical Societys web site or by calling (203) 869-6899.
