Parks Dept. Hosts Roller-Skating Party

The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation has just the event to keep kids entertained during the holiday break. A roller-skating party will be held at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Wednesday, Dec. 29.

The session will be offered for children in kindergarten through sixth grade from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $5 and includes skate rental if needed. Skaters may bring their own roller skates or roller blades.

Sherry Kline, who operates the very popular roller-skating program at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center, will run the program. It includes a day of games, contests, and skating.

Tickets are limited and skaters are encouraged to sign up in advance at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Road.
