Linn Grim, 83, Greenwich Patent Attorney

GREENWICH, Conn. – Linn Grim, 83, of Greenwich, died April 1 at Nathaniel Witherell in Greenwich. 

He was born July 7, 1928, in Lyons, Pa., to the late Charles and Florence Moyer Grim. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Grim later went on to work as a senior patent attorney for Kraft General Foods. 

An active member at Christ Church in Greenwich, Grim served on the vestry and many committees. He also was active in the Retired Men’s Association of Greenwich, serving as president and singing with the Melody Men. 

Grim is survived by a daughter, Carol Nicholson, of Greenwich; and a son, Jeffrey Grim, of Cos Cob. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Lee Grim, in 1997. 

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Church. Fred D. Knapp & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
