GREENWICH, Conn. Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger helped raise $85,000 for Family Centers while offering his thoughts on China. More than 300 people filled the Grand Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich to hear the Nobel Peace Prize winner offer his perspectives on the global impact of Chinas emerging economy.
Kissinger, who just returned from his 40th trip to China, offered suggestions on how the United States can keep pace with China, the importance of continued U.S./China relations, and discussed points outlined in his latest book, On China.
Family Centers held the luncheon Nov. 4. Family Centers is a nonprofit organization offering education and human services to children, adults and families in Fairfield County.
