GREENWICH, Conn. Kids will scramble for some 14,000 stuffed eggs Saturday, March 31, at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich.
The gates open at 10 a.m., and the Greenwich Lions & ShopRite Annual Egg Hunt starts at 10:30. Lions Club volunteers will stuff the eggs with candy and coupons. Tickets are $10. Activity tickets for temporary tattoos, face painting and snacks are two for $5. The rain date will be Sunday, April 1.
Advance tickets will be available at Griffith E. Harris Insurance Services, located at 137 Post Road, Cos Cob; Patriot National Bank, located at 100 Mason St.; and McDonalds, located at both 268 W. Putnam Ave. and 1207 E. Putnam Ave.
The Lions Club of Greenwich Foundation supports the Yale Juvenile Eye Research Facility and the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, among other organizations dedicated to researching juvenile diabetes and macular degeneration. The Greenwich Lions also work to improve community life for youth, seniors and particularly the visually and hearing impaired.
