The nonprofit, founded in 1969, is a United Way program that serves as a vital connector between residents and service providers in Greenwich. It made the switch in January. “Our new location is only a hop, skip and a jump away from the Library” said Anita Lai, Program Coordinator at the Greenwich United Way.
Over 20 volunteers stand by Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. to assist the public with questions about using information that is maintained on two online databases: Organizations and Events. This information is collected and updated by the volunteers on an ongoing basis. In addition, Community Answers publishes informational "Know Your Town" brochures and a newsletter to address the most frequently-asked questions.
