Greenwich Tree Conservancy To Take A Walk In The Woods At Beach

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Tree Conservancy is co-sponsoring an informative tree walk and lecture with the Bruce Museum from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Oct. 6.

Join Bruce Spaman, superintendent of parks and trees and Town Tree Warden, at 1:45 p.m. at the main concession stand for a one-hour walk to learn about the trees around Greenwich Point.

At 3 p.m. in the Innis Arden Cottage at Greenwich Point, hear Eric Hammerling, executive director at Connecticut Forest & Park Association, talk about the CT blue trail system and the legacy of Helen Binney Kitchel, Greenwich conservationist, state legislator and philanthropist.
