GREENWICH, Conn. Looking to do some good for others while you shop? Saks Fifth Avenue will be hosting a charity shopping evening in support of five local charities in Greenwich.
Saks will be donating 5 percent of all registered purchases made during February with a Saks Fifth Avenue card to Greenwich Ballet Academy, Greenwich Hospital, Jacobs Cure, REACH Prep and the YMCA of Greenwich.
Representatives from each of these groups will be on hand to meet guests Thursday, Feb. 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Saks Fifth Avenue, located at 205 Greenwich Ave. The evening will feature restaurant tastings presented by Café dAzur and Spice Affaire, along with wine provided by W.J. Deutsch & Sons. The Greenwich Ballet Academy will perform at 5:30 p.m., and the YMCA of Greenwich will present Zumba at 6 p.m.
Admission is free and open to all to attend and support these local causes.
