GREENWICH, Conn. A Cos Cob resident will direct the production of the romantic comedy Almost, Maine, which premieres at the Greenwich Library on March 18.
The play, produced by M&M Productions, will be directed by Greenwich resident Larry Schneider, who also directed Jakes Women, Rabbit Hole, Fiction, Three Tall Women and last years Collected Stories. It stars Amanda B. Goodman and Daniel Basiletti.
According to the plays description, On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the Northern Lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almosts residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend almost in this delightful midwinter nights dream.
The program is free and open to all. For more information, contact Alice Bonvenuto at 203-622-7919. The presentation is made possible through the support of the Greenwich Library Board of Trustees and contributions by donors.
