Greenwich Resident Directs 'Almost, Maine'

GREENWICH, Conn. – A Cos Cob resident will direct the production of the romantic comedy “Almost, Maine,” which premieres at the Greenwich Library on March 18.

The play, produced by M&M Productions, will be directed by Greenwich resident Larry Schneider, who also directed “Jake’s Women,” “Rabbit Hole,” “Fiction,” “Three Tall Women” and last year’s “Collected Stories.” It stars Amanda B. Goodman and Daniel Basiletti.

According to the play’s description, “On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the Northern Lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend – almost – in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.”

The program is free and open to all. For more information, contact Alice Bonvenuto at 203-622-7919. The presentation is made possible through the support of the Greenwich Library Board of Trustees and contributions by donors.
