The book is No. 2 on the New York Times Combined Print and E-book Best Seller List.
A number of events based on the book have been planned for the month of October, including a visit from the author Brown. Other programs will center on politics and the Olympics, rowing demonstrations, story-telling, film-screening, and a panel discussion about rowing in the area, among others. A full schedule of events can be found here.
Discussions for adults, teens and children will take place throughout Greenwich. Greenwich Reads Together is designed to engage the entire community in experiencing the same book. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend the many free, public programs.
