McGuire Wreschner has volunteered her time, compassion and medical expertise internationally, by working to bring free medical clinics to those living in rural Mexico, according to a press release.
These clinics have provided residents in the Barron, Sinaloa area access to basic medical exams, treatment options and further testing for illnesses or medical conditions, and patient education, which incorporates individualized counseling for weight loss, healthy eating and physical therapy, the release said.
"We’re extremely proud to have Dr. McGuire Wreschner as part of our Emergency Department team, said Spike Lipschutz, M.D., senior vice president of medical services and chief medical officer at Greenwich Hospital. "She is well known for her skill and compassion."
McGuire Wreschner received a doctorate from New York Medical College and completed her residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey.
She is also affiliated with Norwalk Hospital.
During its annual meetings, the medical association recognizes physicians in Fairfield County who demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality medical care and practices to their patients.
