Greenwich Historical Society Needs Volunteers

GREENWICH, Conn. – Do you enjoy history and the arts? The Greenwich Historical Society is looking for a few good men and women to volunteer. The following positions are open:

• Collections Processing Specialist: Assist in the archives with organization and preparation of historical materials;

• Social Media Developer: Develop and manage the Historical Society's Facebook introduction;

• School Partnership Liaison: Work with director of education and teachers at Hamilton Avenue School to oversee and implement art and history programs at Bush-Holley Historic Site;

• Off-Site Exhibits Curator: Design and install extensions of Historical Society exhibits at locations such as Town Hall, schools, libraries and other community centers;

• Hospitality Committee: Help with setup, coordination and implementation at family, events, special meetings, Green Market dinners, lectures and book signings.
