Greenwich Gears Up For Annual Tree Lighting And Festivities

GREENWICH, Conn. — The annual tree lighting ceremony takes place on Friday, Dec. 4 in front of Greenwich Town Hall.

Sponsored by the Department of Parks and Recreation, the festivities begin at 3:45 p.m. with a holiday message from First Selectman Peter Tesei, followed by a visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus, Frosty and Rudolf.

There also will be a mechanical polar bear, reindeer rides and holiday music by the Greenwich High School Chamber Singers. Refreshments include cider, hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes.
