GREENWICH, Conn. - Kenneth James Dorsey, 44, of Norwalk, died March 24.
Dorsey worked as an event chef at Watson's Catering in Greenwich.
He was born in Bridgeport on Jan. 19, 1968 to Leo and Marlene Klembara Dorsey. He graduated from Shelton High School in 1986 and from the Center for Culinary Arts in Shelton in 2005. Dorsey worked as a supervisor at OEM Controls Inc. in Shelton for more than 22 years. A devout New York Yankees fan, he enjoyed baseball and had a passion for cooking.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Matthew Dorsey of Florida; his sister, Jennifer (Robert) Gaito of Shelton; and his companion Dawn Jeffrey of Norwalk.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home in Trumbull. A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Church in Milford, Conn. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
