Greenwich Academy Hosting Meikle Run Sunday

GREENWICH, Conn. – Greenwich Academy is holding the Meikle Run at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Upper School Circle. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m.

The run commemorates the life of Elizabeth Meiklejohn, math teacher and cross-country coach, who died of skin cancer in January 2008. The Greenwich Academy community honors her and remembers her love of running each year at the event.

There will be two races, a one-mile fun walk/run and a 3.14-mile competitive run. A donation of $10 is recommended. All proceeds go directly to the Skin Cancer Foundation. T-shirts may be purchased the day of the race.
