You can celebrate spring fashions while raising money for breast cancer services at the Breast Cancer Alliance's seventh annual fashion show on Sunday, March 6.
Young women and men from the junior committee of the alliance will model the latest in spring fashions from Richards. Avril Graham, executive fashion and beauty editor of Harpers Bazaar, will emcee the event. She will provide insights into this years colors and accessories as well as fashion dos and donts.
The event will be held at Richards of Greenwich at 359 Greenwich Ave. on Sunday, March 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will include a brunch and a silent auction of items donated by local families and businesses. Proceeds will go toward providing breast cancer services for underserved women.
The Breast Cancer Alliance is the fourth largest private noncorporate organization providing funds for breast cancer research in the United States. Money raised by the alliance funds research, education, outreach and breast surgery fellowship programs. For more information on the event, call 203-861-0014.
