Books can be donated from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 2 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 55 William St. W. in the back parking lot.
You also can donate by calling 203-570-8527; books will not be accepted at the library.
The Friends of Byram Shubert Library, a branch of Greenwich Library, will host ts next book sale from Nov. 8 to 10 at the church.
There will be a preview sale from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 8; the cost is $15. The sale continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 9 and noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 10, when there will be a bargain hunter's delight "bag and box" sale with books selling for $3 per bag, $7 per box or two boxes to $10.
This sale will include about 20,000 books, videos and audiobooks, including large personal libraries of cooking, art, science and Buddhism along with loads of CDs and DVDs. There also will be a large amount of quality literature, children's and young adult books.
