GREENWICH, Conn. Donald Biagi Sr., 80, a longtime resident of Greenwich, died Sunday, April 22.
He was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Greenwich to the late Michael Biagi and Mary Prete Lori. Biagi served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the military, he worked for the Town of Greenwich Housing Authority, and as a caretaker for many Belle Haven estates.
Biagi also owned My Way Bar in Chickahominy in the 1970s. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed going to the racetrack and casinos, as well as sports.
He is survived by two sons, Donald (Kimberlyn) Biagi Jr. and David (Josephine) Biagi; a sister, Debbie Biagi, and two grandchildren. Biagi was predeceased by a brother, Michael Biagi.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Greenwich.
