Weekly Torah Study
An informal weekly Torah Study will be held on Saturdays, Dec. 6, 13, 20 and 27. The study will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Itsy Bitsy Playgroup
Gather with other moms with children under 2. Bond with other mommies and babies during music time, gross motor play (led by family specialist Sarah Fradkin) and enjoy a light snack. These sessions take place on Wednesdays, Dec. 3, 10 and 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and are free and older siblings are welcome. Contact sarah.fradkin@templesholom.com. Registration is required.
Lunch ‘n Learn
On Tuesdays, Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 from noon to 1 p.m., enjoy lunch and study Jewish ethics through the lens of the rabbinic sages. Kosher lunch served. All are welcome. The event will be led by Rabbi Mitchell M. Hurvitz or special guest.
Sholom Center Interfaith Holiday Lighting
Join the Sholom for the annual interfaith tradition when they gather in front of Christ Church with a giant menorah and Christmas tree. The event will take place Thursday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. Together, they will light both, sing holiday favorites from both traditions and enjoy apple cider and donuts. Tot Shabbat
Tot Shabbat is geared for families with children in pre-school or younger. Tot Shabbat is led by Sarah Fradkin and is an introduction to Shabbat with songs and stories. This event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Book Fair
Stop in for the Temple Sholom Selma Maisel Nursery School annual book fair. The book fair will take place Monday, Dec. 8 through Friday, Dec. 12. The lobby will be overflowing with books for adults and children – just in time for Chanukah. For more information please contact phyllis.lyons@templesholom.com.
