The Greenwich pet of the week is Carlisle, a 2-and-a-half-year-old neutered male hound mix. Carlisle was rescued from North Carolina before coming to the Adopt-A-Dog shelter. He is an affectionate boy looking for a home where he would be the only pet.

As event season approaches, Adopt-A-Dog will be attending the following venues:
March 5th - High Ridge Center Rescue Pet Adoption Day in Stamford, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
March 5th - Tischman Pets Photograph Session at Best Friends Pet Resorts, in Norwalk, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A $25 sitting fee for pets will be donated to Adopt-A-Dog. For details or to schedule an appointment, please contact Best Friends at 203-849-1010.
March 12th - Pet Pantry Warehouse, located at 290 Railroad Avenue in Greenwich, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
March 20th - St. Patrick's Day Parade on Greenwich Ave. in Greenwich, 2 p.m.
March 26th & 27th - Fairfield County Home & Outdoor Expo at the Stamford Plaza Hotel, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
