Bush-Holley Offers Candlelight Tours

Get in the spirit of the holidays with a historical tour of the Greenwich Historical Society's Bush-Holley House by candlelight — offered for one night only.

The event will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Bush-Holley House, the society's circa 1730 building. Select rooms will be decorated in early nation tradition, while others will be decked out more elaborately in holiday finery from the turn of the 19th century when Bush-Holley was home to the American Impressionist art movement.

This family-friendly event includes a tour by costumed guides, light refreshments and holiday craft projects for children. All activities take place and tours begin at the Vanderbilt Education Center, where the aroma of hot cider will greet you.

The Bush-Holley House is at 39 Strickland Road in Cos Cob. Nonmember admission for the event is $30 per family, $10 for adults and $8 for children. Admission for members is free. Reservations are required and may be made online or by calling 203-869-6899.
