The event benefits the Adopt-A-Dog Shelter and Adoption Center in Armonk, N.Y. It is one of the largest outdoor events in Greenwich and attracts 7,000 attendees.
Many dogs will put their best paw forward as they seek a forever family to love them and one of those dogs will be Kara.
Kara, a longtime resident of Adopt-A-Dog has lived with a local foster family but now is in immediate need of a new situation in which to grow and thrive. She is energetic, athletic, fun, silly and ready to be part of a family. Kara will do best in a home without other pets or young children.
The Puttin’ On The Dog Festival, held annually at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, offers a day of activities, contests, demonstrations, exhibits, food, music and family fun. Gates open at 10 a.m. and the event closes at 4:30 p.m. after the traditional dog costume contest.
