GREENWICH, Conn. The Greenwich pet of the week is George, an 8-year-old pit bull terrier who was rescued from a shelter in Yonkers, N.Y.
George is a sweet dog who gets along well with other dogs and is surprisingly playful for his age. He loves everyone he meets and would make a great companion.
