Adopt-a-dog To Host First 'Barks And Blooms' Benefit Party In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. – The Adopt-A-Dog sanctuary will host its first Barks & Blooms benefit party on Thursday, June 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McArdle’s Florist and Garden Center in Greenwich.

The event will offer fine spirits, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction. Geoffrey Tischman, a pet portrait artist, will also attend to take complimentary photographs. Tickets are available in advance through the Adopt-A-Dog website and may also be purchased on the night of the event. Tickets cost $100 per person, $82 of which is tax deductible, according to a press release. Casual clothing is suggested.

Pets are admitted free of charge.

Horseneck Wines and Liquors of Greenwich will provide the spirits, and the Fairway Market is catering the hors d’oeuvres.

The McArdle’s Florist and Garden Center is at 48 Arch St.

Founded in 1981, Adopt-A-Dog is a non-profit dog and cat rescue sanctuary which has found homes for thousands of cats and dogs. It serves Connecticut, New York and beyond.
