1-Woman Greenwich Show Presents 3 First Ladies

GREENWICH, Conn. – Three former First Ladies will share secrets at the Greenwich Library this month when Emmy Award-winning actress Elaine Bromka stars in the one-woman show “Lady Bird, Pat & Betty: Tea for Three.”

“Tea for Three” unveils a gallery of intimate portraits of three radically different First Ladies – Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon and Betty Ford. It has been critically acclaimed for its blend of humor and passion. Through Bromka, walk in the shoes of these three women and come to know their most private thougths, emotions, strengths, perseverance and courage.

Bromka brings 30 years of experience on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in television and film to the performance. She wrote the script with Eric Weinberger, a Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award nominee. Bromka has performed the show throughout the country to rave reviews.

The show has been cited as “marvelous, poignant” and “a fascinating evening, laced with insight, emotion and humor.”
