"Our goal for the new Playhouse is even if you drop in and don't know what's playing, you always have the assurance there is something to see that's worth your time," said John Farr, President of Bedford Playhouse. The theater will feature new releases of international, family and documentaries films, as well as re-screen cinema classics. Lectures, workshops and director presentations will help make the theater a vibrant community hub and cultural institution.
The Bedford Playhouse is currently seeking the public's support to raise the remaining $220,000 to begin construction by January 2017. An additional $1.4 million is needed to open by late fall 2017. To learn more or to donate, click here.
