Outdoor Adventure: Things With Wings Hike. Look for birds, bats and bugs. 7 p.m.- 8:30 p.m., Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road.
SoNo Arts Celebration. Opening night concerts for weekend art festival in South Norwalk. 6 p.m.- midnight. Main and Washington streets.
Saturday, Aug. 4
Crafts: Making Paper Beads: Kids will make paper beads that are colorful and eco-friendly. Free, 10:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m., Byram Shubert Library, 21 Mead Ave., Greenwich.
Annual Summer Honey Harvest: Local beekeepers demonstrate the harvest in the Red Barn at Audubon Greenwich. Guests can help and taste. Honey will also be on sale. 11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Audubon Greenwich, 613 Riversville Road, Greenwich.
Pinkalicious the Musical: Adaption of the popular children's book. 1 p.m., Waveny Park, New Canaan High School Entrance, 11 Farm Road., New Canaan.
Nature-Palooza Family Concert: Have a picnic dinner and listen to live music. Activities and sprinklers for kids. 3 p.m.-6 p.m., New Canaan Nature Center, 144 Oenoke Ridge Road.
Sunday, Aug. 5
First Sunday Bird Walk: Bring binoculars. Meet at second concession stand in Greenwich Point Park. 9 a.m., Greenwich Point Park.
Summer Sunday Evening Concerts: Katie Wilson and the Two Time String Band. 5 p.m.- 7 p.m., Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens, 151 Brookdale Road, Stamford, Conn.
