Flags Across America: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Darien native and artist Robert  Carley made it his quest to capture the American spirit by taking photographs of Old Glory in many different forms. Flags Across America celebrates the American flag with more than 40 photographic prints and a video display of 60 additional photographs. Cost is $7 adult, $6 student/senior, members and under 5 free. Bruce Museum, One Museum Drive, Greenwich.

Saturday, Aug. 31

Revised and Restored: The Art of Kathleen Gilje: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Exhibit features technically adroit reincarnations of famous Old Master and 19th-century Eyck, Raphael, Artemesia Gentileschi, Manet and Sargent paintings. Sunday, Sept. 1

ECAD's Polo Luncheon : 12:30 p.m. A charity fundraising events to educate service dogs that will be placed with civilians or veterans with a range of visible and invisible injuries, including Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
