'The Monochromatic World Of Paul Manes' On Display At Greenwich Gallery

GREENWICH, Conn. -- An inaugural reception for "The Monochromatic World of Paul Manes" will take place Friday, Jan. 29 at Greenwich's Isabella Garrucho Fine Art.

The reception will include an opportunity to meet the artist. The exhibit will be on view through Monday, Feb. 15.

Texas-born Paul Manes is a globally exhibited and collected painter. His works are in the collections of numerous museums, including

  • The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York
  • Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York
  • Detroit Institute of Art
  • Fisher Landau Center for Art, Long Island City
  • Jane Voorhees Zimerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey
  • Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art Cornell University, Ithaca, New York
  • The Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Beaumont, Texas

This is a new gallery for Isabella Garrucho Fine Art, an expansion of her global presence. The gallery will feature established, contemporary and emerging artists. Garrucho will offer art-consulting services to seasoned and first-time collectors, research, art appraisal and installation.

The space is shared with Geoffrey Walsky, of Fairfield County Antique and Design Center. Walsky will feature mid-century and modern furnishings by names such as Warren Planter, Charles and Ray Eames, Milo Baughman, Paul Evans and Florence Knoll. He also will offer product sourcing, design consulting and luxury staging services.

The reception is from 6-8 p.m. Isabella Garrucho Fine Art is at 45 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.
