Proceeds from the new event will benefit residents of Fairfield and Westchester counties who rely on outreach health services provided by Community Health at Greenwich Hospital (CH@GH). Event chair Geri Corrigan is leading the volunteer committee planning the festivities. The club is located at 888 North St. in Greenwich.

A fresh new vibe on Greenwich Hospital’s long-time favorite event Great Chefs, Taste the Towns is a premier culinary affair designed to tantalize the taste buds and showcase the best in food and beverage. The feast is expected to draw a sellout crowd of 300 guests who will enjoy the cuisines from more than 35 chefs representing the top restaurants and catering companies in Fairfield and Westchester counties.

Tasting stations will span the entire Stanwich Club and fine wines, regional brews and spirits from area wine and beverage distributors will be served. Guests will also enjoy exclusive auction packages and dance to the sounds of DJ Flip.

Proceeds from the event will go towards Community Health at Greenwich Hospital to promote health education programs, support groups, free health screenings and other outreach services.

For more than a century, Greenwich Hospital has focused on community benefit programs that bring preventive services and medical care to all segments of the communities served. Each year, thousands of area residents benefit from CH@GH’s broad array of services.

“Our programs touch the lives of everyone from infants to the elderly,” said Kathy Carley-Spanier, RN, director of Community Health at Greenwich Hospital. “Whether we are teaching new parents how to care for their infants, educating children at school health fairs, providing free medical screening or offering support groups to people suffering from chronic illness, we provide a critical link to healthier living.”
