Musicians from Marlboro offers audiences a sample of the music-making that is characteristic of Marlboro, prompting The Washington Post to describe Musicians from Marlboro as “a virtual guarantee of musical excellence."
Now in its 51st season, Musicians from Marlboro, the touring extension of the Marlboro Music Festival in Vermont, offers young professional musicians the opportunity to perform together with seasoned artists in varied chamber music programs. Each program is built around an exceptional work performed in a previous summer. The resulting ensembles offer audiences the chance to both discover seldom-heard masterworks and enjoy fresh interpretations of chamber music favorites.
