MakerBot In Greenwich Holds Children's 3D Printing Class

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The recently opened MakerBot in Greenwich is registering children for a 3D printing class.

Admission is $10 for the class, which is for kids ages 8-and-up. The workshop offers an intro to Tinkercad, a simple software to design things, then build them in real-life using a MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer.

Classes will be held on Saturdays in December and on Dec. 27 to Dec. 28 during holiday break. Registration information is available online.
