Participants are invited to take what they make home or to donate it to Jewish Family Services of Greenwich for use during one of the nine Passover Seders that will be held at senior centers around town.
Session one will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. and is recommended for children ages three to seven with a parent. Session two will be from 4 to 5 p.m. following and is recommended for children ages eight and up with a parent. Registration is required at $36 per family and can be done by visiting the JCC website.
There will also be a Matzah Factory Mitzvah Project for Teens on Sunday, April 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Carmel Academy. Join the JCC’s Teen Action Committee to help make matzah which will be donated to Jewish Family Services of Greenwich for use during one of the Passover Seders led for seniors in the community. Registration is required at $18 per teen and includes dinner. To register, visit their website.
Finally there will be a Passover mini Seder for children on Tuesday, April 19 from 3:45 to 5 p.m. at One Holly Hill Ln. in Greenwich for free. RSVP is appreciated. The mini Seder will take children on a journey through the story of Passover and experience the plagues, the exodus from Egypt and more.
