Greenwich Skatepark Prepares For Spring Opening

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Skatepark will open Saturday, March 12, weather permitting.

The park will open only on weekends from noon to 5 p.m. until its full schedule begins March 28. After March 28, the park will be open from 3:30-7 p.m. weekdays and 12:30-7 p.m. weekends. 

Annual membership is available to residents at the Parks and Recreation Office at Town Hall between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays or online at www.greenwichct.org/webtrac.

Membership is $175 annually and includes use of the park whenever it's open and eligibility for class and competition discounts. 

Day passes are $10. A monthly membership is $30. 

All skaters 17 and younger must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver release form. 

Full safety pads are required.

The Greenwich Skatepark is at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park next to the Arch Street Teen Center.
