Greenwich Land Trust Offers Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Both members and the public are welcomed to join the Greenwich Land Trust for a workshop on optimizing fruit trees' health, on Thursday, Feb. 25.

Kevin Wyatt, from Emerald Tree & Shrub Care, will lead the demonstration on fruit-tree pruning practices. He's an ISA-certified master arborist. The hands-on workshop will focus on tree structure and optimizing fruit production.

The workshop is for adults, and it will run from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Greenwich Land Trust's Conservation Center. The Center is located at 370 Round Hill Rd., in Greenwich. The rain or snow date is Thursday, March 3.

The cost is $25 for members, $40 for non-members. There's a 25-person limit, so reserve early. Email Michelle Spinei at michelle@gltrust.org or 203-629-2151, ext. 102.
