Bonanno and Rogers will be recognized for their leadership and volunteer efforts in establishing the popular summer benefit, which has raised significant money throughout the years for the hospital’s Pediatric Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
“We are delighted to be recognized for our efforts in establishing this event which supports a place so close to our hearts,” Bonanno said. “This event has grown and flourished over the past 19 years and we are incredibly proud and humbled to have been a part of it.”
Plans for the benefit have begun with co-chairs Janet Delos and Jenni Salinas spearheading a volunteer committee of more than 50 women.
“Greenwich Hospital is committed to providing the infants and children in our region with the highest quality of health care in a compassionate and safe environment,” said Norman Roth, president of Greenwich Hospital. “We are grateful for the generous support we receive from individuals and businesses to help us achieve this mission.”
Under the Stars is expected to draw more than 400 guests from Fairfield and Westchester counties who will enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing along the Long Island Sound. The evening also includes silent, live and wine auction items.
“We look forward to celebrating with the wonderful staff and all of the other volunteers and supporters of Greenwich Hospital who have made this event such a huge success,” Rogers said.
Each year, Greenwich Hospital’s Pediatric Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provide life-saving care to more than 22,000 children from birth through age 21.
Tickets are available at varying levels of support:
- Benefactor tickets at $1,000 or $10,000 for a table of 10
- Sponsor tickets at $500 or $5,000 for a table of 10
- Patron tickets at $350 or $3,500 for a table of 10
- Friend tickets at $250 or $2,500 for a table of 10
