GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich residents have plenty of choices when it comes to Memorial Day parades this year.

The town will hold three parades, with two on Sunday and one on Monday.

The festivities kick off Sunday with a parade hosted by the Byram Veterans Association at 2 p.m. The route will run from Delavan Avenue to Mead Avenue to William Street to South Water Street to Mill Street to Mead and ending at the Byram Shubert Library.

Later Sunday, the Ninth District Veterans Association will host a fire truck parade at 5 p.m. That parade will begin on Glenville Street at King Street and go to the Glenville Fire Station. A ceremony at the station will follow the parade.

Greenwich American Legion Post 29 will hold its annual Memorial Day dockside service Monday at 8 a.m. at Indian Harbor Yacht Club.

The festivities in town conclude with the Sound Beach Fire Department Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. That parade will run through downtown Old Greenwich, running down Sound Beach Avenue from Laddins Rock Road to Shore Road, ending at Binney Park.
