Recognizing the need for a new book group, Greenwich Library staffers Joanne Gaither and Robin Terzi offer Fiction Addiction, which will focus exclusively on the exciting world of contemporary fiction for the benefit of patrons who, like Gaither and Terzi, are fans of fiction set in modern times.
They have selected “We Are Called to Rise,” a debut novel by Laura McBride, for the group’s first read. They chose this title because McBride is a relatively new author, and “We Are Called to Rise” is a title that people are less likely to have read before. The library has acquired 17 copies – book format only. Check the catalog for location and availability.
Terzi’s work in circulation makes her keenly aware of new and popular titles, and Gaither often assists patrons in selecting reading material. Their combined experience and personal love for contemporary fiction – and patron interest - led to the creation of Fiction Addiction.
