Subway Pitchman Expected To Plead Guilty In Child Porn Case

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Jared Fogle, the former longtime spokesman for the Subway restaurants chain, which was founded in Bridgeport, was expected to plead guilty Wednesday to charges involving child pornography in an Indiana court, according to a report on WABC-TV.

Fogle, 37, had been a Subway pitchman for about 15 years, after he claimed he lost more than 200 pounds mostly by eating the chain's sandwiches, according to WABC-TV.

Subway, founded in Bridgeport by Fred DeLuca and Peter Buck, now of Danbury, has severed all ties with Fogle, according to WABC-TV.
